Faculty and Staff Can't Login to their Office Computer or Lab and Classroom Computers

• Symptom: Your login credentials won't work in your office (but did as recently as yesterday) or lab and classroom computers.
• Probable Cause: There is a student user object with the same login name as yours (most likely created yesterday).
• Solution: Add ".academic" after your username then proceed as normal. Example: dstraka.academic
• Explanation: The Novell Client on that computer is configured to look at the students first. If it finds a name that matches yours it will use your password and attempt to login as the student user and of course, that will fail.
• Note: If the student user object is yours (usually so) call or email Dan Straka to have your student user object deleted.
