Casper College DoIT - DATACOVE Email Archiving Appliance

Now, where the heck is that message? You've looked in all your folders, your Trash, even the local Archive on your computer and it's just gone. Now you have another option. Since January 2011, the DoIT has been using a DATACOVE Email Archiving Appliance to archive all messages sent to/from GroupWise mailboxes. Messages from before then may be archived on the appliance as well if they were in your mailbox at that time but have been deleted since and were not more than 4 years old. You can search this archive yourself!

Logging in to the DATACOVE requires that, 1.) you are on campus and 2.) that you configure your browser to "trust" the security certificate installed on it. When you connect to the DATACOVE with your web browser you'll be prompted to take steps to "trust" the certificate before you can login. The procedure to do this along with screen shots for Firefox, Internet Explorer and how to log in are documented below.
