I was born and raised in Cracow, Poland.
From 1973 to 1979, I worked for a Polish TV network -Telewizja Krakow, and at the same time going to the
Jaggiellonian University , one of the oldest universities in Europe.
I came to USA in 1982, and started working for a local CBS affiliate (Channel 14). Since 1988, I have been employed as a Photojournalist at K2 television in Casper, Wyoming, the biggest news organization in the state.
In 1981, my friends Piotr Chmielinski, Jurek Majcherczyk, Andrzej Pietowski, Stefan Danielski, Biczu Krasniewski and myself became the first human beings to run the Colca Canyon in Southern Peru -which is the deepest gorge in the world. This achievement was published for the first time in the 1984 edition of Guinnes Book of World Records
In 1983 and 1991, we went back to the Colca Canyon under the sponsorship of National Geographic Society.(National Geographic Magazine, January 1993).
In 1985, two members of"Canoandes '79", Piotr Chmielinski and Zbigniew Bzdak began the "Amazon Source to Mouth" expedition. I joined them on the third leg at Manaos, Brazil.
